The indirect costs alone of a bad hire are equal to 8 to 12 times the executive in question’s annual salary: disruption of business, loss of leadership, loss of potential opportunities, management churn, and loss of morale. Direct costs of a bad hire are: hiring fees, legal fees and severance costs, the cost of replacing the executive.

When you work with us, you may rest assured that we will communicate frequently, openly, and honestly. If for some reason you are unhappy with our recommended hire, and the executive is terminated within one year of placement, we will conduct a replacement search at no cost to you.

Our Process

We employ a six stage strategic process, which ensures a thorough and customized means of delivering outstanding results.

Initial Client Meeting

Our first meeting is for us to understand your company, your business, your value proposition, your people, your culture, and what differentiates you from the competition.  We will be qualifying which skills and personal attributes an executive will need in order to be successful in your organization.

Compelling Position Profile

We will develop a key marketing document that will describe your company, the opportunity, its role and its responsibilities, and the qualities desired in a successful candidate.

Target List

The key to a successful search is to know where to look for the right talent.  We will prepare an extensive list of companies that will have the desired executives with whom we wish to be speaking.

Research and Candidate Development

We conduct extensive research of our own database, initiate primary internet and phone research, and tap into our broad network of contacts.  We screen all interested candidates and select a small group of those best qualified, whom we meet face to face.

Panel of Candidates

A small group of the best-qualified candidates is introduced to the client for a first round of interviews. We partner with the client in assessing each candidate’s strengths and weaknesses, and assist in the process of moving towards a mutually agreeable offer. We will also conduct in-depth reference checking to gain further knowledge into the suitability of the candidates presented.

Offer Negotiation

We work closely with the client to design a strong offer, and work with both parties to ensure an advantageous conclusion.  We also maintain close communication with the candidates who were not selected, ensuring that their experience remains a positive one.
